Big news from the Jubilee line

Big news this week comes from B3ta.com user Pesky Young Scamp who has discovered a Jubilee line ticket barrier at Canary Wharf doing a fine impression of Blur's 'Song 2'.

Demonstrating what I mean, this video includes guest vocals from "4th barrier from the right".

B3ta.com is the sister site of Us vs Th3m who you'll remember broke the story about the Victoria line cement disaster on 23 January*, so it's nice to see Tube-related japes strong on the agenda of both communities.

Victoria line suspended because of fast-setting cement flooding the signal room

The ace humourists over at Us vs th3m have seemingly secured a pretty serious scoop as to why the Victoria Line, at time of writing, is currently suspended.

The civil engineering team has poured fast-setting concrete into the Victoria Line signalling equipment room and shut everything down.

The official Twitter feed for the Victoria line is currently fending off questions about the veracity of the pictures - apparently they can't confirm it at the moment.

Seems like a disastrous turn of events, let's see how this one plays out.

Update:

Metro reporter claims TFL have confirmed the issue with cement:

Thankfully the beleaguered social media manager is getting some empathy on Twitter too.
